Cider Moon products are now available in the Cleveland, Ohio area at Soft N Sassy! If you haven’t visited this shop yet, we highly recommend it (and not just because our yarn is there!). She carries a wide variety of yarn and needles, and also has the biggest selection of bag handles we’ve ever seen! Stop by if you get a chance.

We’re also in the middle of finalizing our show schedule for next year. We’ve got some great events in the works so check back here later to see what’s on our agenda!

Cider Moon will be holding our Autumn Trunk Show at Craftsman Hill Fibers in Mount Vernon, OH on Saturday, November 4^th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We will be debuting loads of new products, new colors, and new patterns. We will have a trunk show only free pattern available. There will also be door prizes, refreshments, and demos taking place all day. Feel free to bring in your knitting, crocheting, or spinning and hang out with us all day! Jacki’s crazy, sparkly spinning wheel will be demonstrated, so a good time is guaranteed to be had by all.

Also, our new Ohio State themed yarn, “Buckeye Blast,” is now available at both Craftsman Hill Fibers and Knitter’s Mercantile, in Columbus, Ohio. We can barely keep up with the demand for this yarn, so make sure you get yours today!

Cider Moon is pleased to announce the launch of our online shop! Now you can purchase unique items not available in retail stores through the internet. Our first shop update includes unique colorways and different yarn styles than our retail line, one of a kind rovings and hand-dyed cotton fabrics, and some skeins of yarn from our regular line that didn’t have quite enough yardage as they should have had. We will be posting subsequent updates to the shop weekly on Mondays. Be sure to check back frequently to see all of great products we have to offer!

Also, we have a new free knitting pattern available – Sproingy (CM0114). It makes a fun scarf knitted on the diagonal with a cute decorative stitch. No purling required! Download the pdf here.

Cider Moon is pleased to announce the debut of our first hand-dyed yarn collection at Craftsman Hill Fibers. CHF will be hosting CM trunk show on Saturday, March 25th from 10am to 5pm. If you're in the area, be sure to stop in! There will be prizes, refreshments, demos - oh, and did we mention the yarn? There will be much yarn. And fiber. And wool fabric. And patterns. There will be a lot going on that day, so we hope to see you there!
